The Winnipeg Film Group announced the return of the 48 Hour Film Contest (2018). The contest allows the opportunity for groups either youth (students in Highschool, College or University) or adult (non-students) to create a 3-minute 20-second film in an allotted 48 hours.
The guidelines of this project will be determined on the registration day of April 8th at 12 noon sharp, ending at 3 pm. Registration is offered on a first come first serve basis. If you do not arrive within the designated time period, and registration is full you will be added to a waitlist.
There will also be a meet and greet held on Tuesday, May 15th, where contestants are offered the opportunity to speak with staff members from WFG Staff, ACTRA, the GIMLI Film Festival team and The City of Winnipeg. This allows contestants the opportunity to ask questions about the details and rules surrounding the competition, as well as provide a networking opportunity for actors, crew, and local composers.
