Historica Canada has launched a new video contest called Here’s My Canada, which asks Canadians to share what Canada means to them in a 30-second video. Videos can take the form of a music video, animation, short documentary, personal narration – the possibilities are endless! Submissions can range from the abstract and conceptual to the concrete, as long as they answer the question of what Canada means to you and respect the time constraints of 10-30 seconds.
This is a great opportunity for filmmakers to both showcase their skills to a diverse and enthusiastic audience and perhaps finance their next project. The top winners in the adult category will receive a $10,000 cash prize, and second and third place winners will also receive great cash prizes! In addition, videos will be featured across Historica Canada’s social media channels, reaching a network of over 70,000 engaged users, in addition to their partner channels.
