48 Hour Film Fest returns again with registration beginning on April 14, 12pm and ending at 2pm.
There are two categories for submissions: a youth category for high school, college and university students under the age of 25, as well as an adult category for non-students and anyone over the age of 25.
The Winnipeg Film Group and the Gimli Film Festival will premiere a selection of the best films on Saturday, July 27, 2019. There will also be an encore screening at the Metropolitan Entertainment Centre on Wednesday, July 31, 2019. NEW THIS YEAR, The Winnipeg Film Group has partnered with TIFF, who will be doing a six-year retrospective of previous 48 Hour Film Contest films, which will be screened in Toronto at the TIFF Bell Light Box. Will your film be good enough to make it to the TIFF screening? Only one way to find out!
The 48 Hour Film Fest Competition will be held from Friday, June 14th at 5pm to Sunday June 16th at 5pm. The contest key will be announced at 5pm.
