Based on a report released early last weekend by Motion Picture Association — Canada, it was announced that local prodo Original Pictures and Universal Cable Productions’ Channel Zero brought in a total of $15 million to the province. The production enlisted the help of 645 separate vendors and created 300 full-time job opportunities. This success comes after only the first two seasons of the production. The series has been renewed for two more instalments in 2018 and 2019. Assuming that production expenditure patterns remain similar over the next two seasons, it is estimated that Channel Zero could bring in a collective total of $29.8 million.
